Jack Lynch Memorial Classic
The annual Jack Lynch Memorial Golf Classic began in 1985 and has become the showpiece of Skibbereen and West Carbery Golf Club. The week-long event in July extends a warm invitation to all categories of golfer to compete in the many OPEN competitions held throughout the week including singles, fourballs, mixed foursomes, Seniors, Juveniles, scrambles and the coveted Mens and Ladies Team-of-3 events. Timesheets are in operation for the entire week and bookings can be made by contacting the club. The 2007 Jack Lynch Memorial Classic was a great success. So keep a look out for details of the 2008 event, which will be posted here as soon as they are available.
