The construction of a completely new tee box in 2011 with an attractive large-stone face together with a lot of earth moving works has substantially reduced the 12th tee steep climb. The club are indebted to our patron Bernard McNicholas for his generosity towards this project.
Since 1985, the annual Jack Lynch Memorial Golf Classic has been the showpiece of Skibbereen & West Carbery Golf Club. The week-long event in July extends a warm invitation to all categories of golfer to compete in the many OPEN competitions held throughout the week.
